第3回関係国会議の初日には、参加者は福島県庁と福島赤十字病院を訪問しました。
福島県庁において村田副知事からは、歓迎と世界の赤十字から福島県に寄せられた支援に対して感謝の言葉をいただくとともに、県庁の職員の方からは、「原子力に依存しない、安全・安心で持続的に発展可能な社会づくり」を目指した福島県の復興計画について説明をいただきました。
福島赤十字病院においては、渡部副院長より、福島第一原発事故が発生した際の日赤および福島赤十字病院の対応についての説明を、また福島県立医科大学の大津留晶教授からは、県民健康調査活動について説明をいただきました。
On Day 1 of the third Reference Group Meeting on Nuclear & Radiological Emergency Preparedness, the participants visited the Fukushima Prefectural Office and the Fukushima Red Cross Hospital.
At the prefectural office, Mr. Murata, Vice Governor, gave a welcome speech and expressed gratitude for the assistance given to Fukushima from Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies around the world. Then officials of the Fukushima Prefectural Government explained their revitalization plan for “Building a safe, secure and sustainable society free from nuclear power.”
At the Fukushima Red Cross Hospital, the participants listened to explanations about relief activities by the JRCS and Fukushima Red Cross Hospital from Dr. Watanabe, Deputy Director General of the hospital and about the Fukushima Health Management Survey from Prof. Otsuru of the Fukushima Medical University.
