Participants in the 4th Reference Group Meeting on CBRN Emergency Preparedness visited the Logistics Center of the German Red Cross (GRC). They looked around a CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) decontamination unit and were explained about how the GRC staff put/took off their protective gear and how carefully they did so in the field in the western African nations when they responded to the outbreak of the Ebola virus.
