東日本大震災と福島第一原発事故が発生した2011年の11月に開催された第18回国際赤十字・赤新月社連盟総会（連盟総会）において、「原子力事故がもたらす人道的影響に関する決議」が採択されました。国際赤十字・赤新月社連盟（IFRC）は関係する赤十字社と協力して、この決議を具現化するための取り組みを行ってきました。
2011年3月の東日本大震災発生から、2015年12月の第20回連盟総会に至るまでの、IFRCと関係する赤十字社の取り組みを時系列に紹介しています。
In November of the year 2011 in which the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami and the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident occurred, the 18th International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies General Assembly (GA) took place. In this GA, a resolution on "preparedness to respond to the humanitarian consequences of nuclear accidents" was adopted. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) collaborated with relevant National Societies to operationalize this resolution.
This webpage is about a timeline of the IFRC's efforts together with relevant National Societies from the onset of the earthquake and tsunami in March 2011 to the 20th IFRC GA in December 2015.
