第2回の赤十字原子力災害セミナーが2014年3月15日に日本赤十字社（日赤）本社で開催されました。第2回のセミナーは、原子力災害が再び起こった際に自分が何をできるかを自ら考えることの大切さを、若い人たちに学んでもらうことを目的に、わかりやすいプロジェクトの高校生たちと日赤との共催で開催されました。
セミナーの中では、参加者が「避難所運営ゲーム」を行って、避難所の運営について学んだり、昼食に日赤が避難所で実際に用いる非常食を食べたりしました。また、郡山市の「ビッグパレットふくしま」の避難所運営に携わった、福島大学の天野和彦氏から講演をいただきました。
The Second Red Cross Nuclear Disaster Seminar (Seminar) was held on March 15, 2014 at the Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS) National Headquarters. The Second Seminar aimed to help young people to learn the importance of thinking about what they can do if another nuclear disaster happens. This seminar was organized jointly by the JRCS and high school students of The Simplest NAIIC.
During the Seminar, the participants did an "Evacuation centre simulation game" to learn how to run an evacuation center. For lunch, they had emergency meals which the JRCS provide at evacuation centers in the event of a disaster. Prof. Kazuhiko Amano of Fukushima University, who ran "Big Palette Fukushima" in Koriyama City, one of the evacuation centers in Fukushima Prefecture, gave a lecture.
