2015年10月19日～23日にオーストリアのウィーンで開催された、国際原子力機関（IAEA）の「包括的災害対応に関する国際会議」に、日本赤十字社（日赤）の緊急被ばく医療アドバイザーを務める、日赤長崎原爆病院の朝長万左男名誉院長が参加しました。朝長名誉院長は、福島第一原発事故当時の状況と日赤救護班の対応について、また、その反省を踏まえて策定された日赤の「原子力災害における救護活動ガイドライン」について概要を説明しました。
From October 19 to 23, 2015, “International Conference on Global Emergency Preparedness and Response” of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was held in Vienna, Austria. Dr. Masao Tomonaga, Honorary Director General of the Japanese Red Cross Nagasaki Genbaku Hospital, who is a JRCS radiation emergency medical care advisor, participated in the conference. He explained the situation right after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident occurred, the response by JRCS relief teams and the overview of "JRCS Nuclear Disaster Guidelines for Preparedness, Response and Recovery" that was developed based on the reflections of the JRCS's response at that time.
