2015年12月4日に、スイスのジュネーブで開催された「第20回国際赤十字・赤新月社連盟総会」において、日本赤十字社（日赤）は「CBRN（化学・生物・放射能・核）及び技術災害などの緊急事態にいかに備えるか」というテーマのサイドイベントを主催しました。サイドイベントでは、「わかりやすいプロジェクト」の高校生と大学生によるプレゼンテーションに続き、ベラルーシ赤十字社、日赤などからも発表がありました。また会場では、福島県と日赤の復興・防災対策等に関する共同宣言に基づき、福島県から、桃ジュースなどの配布品や福島県産食品の安全に関するデータなどが提供され、福島の復興をアピールしました。
On December 4, 2015, a side event of the 20th General Assembly of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies was held in Geneva, Switzerland. The Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS) hosted this side event entitled "How should we prepare for CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) emergencies?" The side event started with a presentation made by some high school and college students from The Simplest (Nuclear Accident Independent Investigation Commission (The Simplest NAIIC), followed by presentations by representatives from the Belarus Red Cross and the JRCS, etc. Based on a joint declaration signed between Fukushima Prefecture and the JRCS regarding the recovery and disaster prevention, goods including canned peach juice and data regarding safety of foods produced in the prefecture were provided at the venue by Fukushima Prefecture. Fukushima's recovery from the disaster was appealed to the participants.
