Based on the experiences of relief activities and lessons of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami and the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident, the Japanese Red Cross Society established the Red Cross Nuclear Disaster Resource Center (NDRC) in 2013 to gather and share information on response to nuclear disasters. This webpage introduces the background and purpose of the NDRC and its main activities.
