日赤は、福島第一原発事故の教訓を踏まえ、原子力災害に適切に対応できる体制を構築するため、2014年に「緊急被ばく医療指定機関等担当者による意見交換会」を開催しました。本会議は、この意見交換会を発展させた会議と位置付けられており、また、原発立地県の被ばく医療指定機関や広島・長崎・福島の各赤十字病院の医師と診療放射線技師で構成される「緊急被ばく医療アドバイザー」による初めての会議となります。

English Description
In 2014, the JRCS held a Meeting for Medical Personnel of Japanese Red Cross Radiation Emergency Hospitals in order to build its internal arrangements for appropriate response to nuclear disasters. The 2014 meeting was developed into the Meeting of Radiation Emergency Medical Care Advisors. At this meeting, physicians and radiological technologists gathered for the first time from JRC Hospitals which are located in prefectures with nuclear power plants and designated as radiation emergency hospitals, and other JRC Hospitals in Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Fukushima.
