福島県主催の「ふくしま復興を考える県民シンポジウム2015」には、仙台市で開催された第3回国連防災世界会議に出席していた国際赤十字・赤新月社のメンバーが参加しましたが、ボランティアの学生2人が、シンポジウム会場に向かうバスの車内にて自らの被災体験や復興への取り組みを英語で説明するとともに、同シンポジウムおよび日本赤十字社の福島復興への取り組みについてまとめた手作りの新聞を配布しました。

English Description
Staff from Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies who were participating in The Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai joined the Residents Symposium for Fukushima Reconstruction 2015, which was hosted by Fukushima Prefecture. Two student volunteers attended them from Sendai to the venue in Fukushima. On the bus to the venue, the volunteers explained in English about their experience of disasters and efforts for recovery. They also handed out a gazette to the participants on the bus. The gazette was prepared by the students to explain the JRCS's efforts for recovery in Fukushima.
