第1回赤十字原子力災害セミナーでプレゼンテーションを行う福島赤十字病院の渡部副院長(2013.12.2)

The First Red Cross Nuclear Disaster Seminar was held for JRCS staff and related people from relevant ministries/agencies and academic institutions. Dr. Yoichi Watanabe, Deputy Director General of the Fukushima Red Cross Hospital, gave a presentation entitled “Relief Activities Conducted by the Japanese Red Cross Society after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Accident and the Challenges for the Future”. Dr. Watanabe presented the relief activities immediately after the nuclear accident conducted by the Japanese Red Cross relief teams and Fukushima Red Cross Hospital, the constraints posed by the nuclear accident. Furthermore, he raised a challenge about how the JRCS should respond to a similar situation in the future.
