2011年11月の連盟総会での「原子力事故がもたらす人道的影響に関する決議」の採択を受けて、2012年5月に「原子力災害対策にかかる赤十字会議」（連絡調整会議）がIFRCと日赤との共催にて東京で開かれました。この会議の参加者は、福島の除染プラザを訪問し、除染の現状について説明を受けました。

English Description
Following the IFRC resolution on "preparedness to respond to the humanitarian consequences of nuclear accidents" adopted at the General Assembly of the IFRC in November 2011, Working Group Meeting on Nuclear Disaster Preparedness was held in Tokyo, co-hosted by the IFRC and the JRCS. The meeting attendees visited a PR center for decontamination in Fukushima and listened to explanation about decontamination.
