日本赤十字社の「原子力災害における救護活動ガイドライン」策定過程において、「原子力災害の被災地に居住する職員やその家族の安全管理」が課題としてあげられていました。このたび、原子力災害発生時に、被災地で居住または活動を継続する職員やその家族の健康や安心・安全を確保するために必要な運用や留意事項について明確化した、「原子力災害時の被災地に居住する職員等の安全管理に関する運用手引き」が作成されました。あわせて、放射線に関する基礎知識をポケットサイズのリーフレットにまとめた、「原子力災害時にあなたとあなたの家族の健康を守るために」も作成されました。
During the process of creating "Nuclear Disaster Guidelines for Preparedness, Response and Recovery" by the JRCS, "the safety management for staff and their family living in a nuclear disaster affected area" was recognized as an issue. This time, "Operational guidance on the safety management of staff living in an affected area in the event of a nuclear disaster" clarifying the management and considerations necessary to ensure health, safety and security of staff and their families living in the nuclear disaster affected area was created by the JRCS. At the same time, the pocket-sized leaflet titled "For protecting yourself and your family in the event of a nuclear disaster" explaining the basics of radiation was created.
