日赤では原子力災害に備える取り組みを進めています。その一環として、全国の赤十字病院の医師・看護師・診療放射線技師・事務職員等や支部の職員を対象として、原子力災害対応基礎研修会を開催してきました。ここで使用されてきた教材の見直しを行うとともに、その中から関係者に有用と思われるものを公開することにしました。このプレゼンテーションは、放射線に関する基礎知識を解説するとともに、広島・長崎での原子爆弾やチェルノブイリ原発事故、福島原発事故での放射線が身体に及ぼす影響について取り上げて、災害救護活動における放射線防護の基礎知識を説明しています。
The JRCS is working on nuclear disaster preparedness. As part of the efforts, the JRCS has organized and held JRCS Nuclear Disaster Response Basic Training Session for physicians, nurses, radiological technologists and administrative staff of JRC hospitals and staff of JRCS chapters across Japan. The training materials used for the training were reviewed and the JRCS decided to publish some of the materials considered to be helpful. The presentation materials explain basic knowledge about radiation; health effects from atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Chernobyl nuclear accident and the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident; and basic knowledge about radiation protection which should be taken during disaster relief activities.
