日赤では原子力災害に備える取り組みを進めています。その一環として、全国の赤十字病院の医師・看護師・診療放射線技師・事務職員等や支部の職員を対象として、原子力災害対応基礎研修会を開催してきました。ここで使用されてきた教材の見直しを行うとともに、その中から関係者に有用と思われるものを公開することにしました。このプレゼンテーションは、空間線量率を測定するサーベイメータ、身体の表面の汚染具合を測定するサーベイメータ、個人の被ばく線量を測定する線量計、データの読み取り装置など、日赤が配備した放射線防護資機材の使用方法について説明しています。
The JRCS is working on nuclear disaster preparedness. As part of the efforts, the JRCS has organized and held JRCS Nuclear Disaster Response Basic Training Session for physicians, nurses, radiological technologists and administrative staff of JRC hospitals and staff of JRCS chapters across Japan. The training materials used for the training were reviewed and the JRCS decided to publish some of the materials considered to be helpful. The presentation materials explain how to use a survey meter for measuring air dose rate, another survey meter for body surface contamination screening, a personal dosimeter and a data reader. These equipment and materials were deployed to JRCS chapters and facilities by the JRCS.
