第3回目となる原子力災害対策関係国赤十字社会議は、世界16カ国から参加者が集まり被災地である福島県で開催されました。原子力・放射線災害における事前対策および応急対応ガイドラインなどについて議論することを目的としています。会議の初日には、開催国である日本赤十字社の近衞社長から、今回の会議に16か国からの参加があったことを嬉しく思うとともに、有意義な議論がなされ、総会決議をより具体的な形で前へ進めることができるよう強く希望するとの挨拶がありました。

English Description
The Third Reference Group Meeting on Nuclear & Radiological Emergency Preparedness was joined by 16 National Societies and held in Fukushima, the affected area. The objective of the meeting was to discuss preparedness for nuclear and radiological emergencies and the IFRC guidelines. On Day 1, Tadateru Konoe, President of the JRCS, the organizer of the meeting, made an opening speech that he was glad to have participants in the meeting from 16 countries, and hoped that they would have useful discussions to carry forward the General Assembly’s resolution in more concrete terms.
