第3回目となる原子力災害対策関係国赤十字社会議は、世界16カ国から参加者が集まり被災地である福島県で開催されました。原子力・放射線災害における事前対策および応急対応ガイドラインなどについて議論することを目的としています。会議の最終日にIAEAのPat Kenny氏より、IAEAが事故・緊急センター(IEC)を通じて調整を行っている原子力・放射線緊急事態への国際的な対応体制についてお話いただきました。

English Description
The Third Reference Group Meeting on Nuclear & Radiological Emergency Preparedness was joined by 16 National Societies and held in Fukushima, the affected area. The objective of the meeting was to discuss preparedness for nuclear and radiological emergencies and the IFRC guidelines. On the final day, Mr. Pat Kenny from the IAEA, made a presentation about the international arrangements for response to nuclear and radiological emergencies which are coordinated by the Incident and Emergency Centre (IEC) of the IAEA.
