2004年は、11月までの時点で移動診療所（MDL)で検診を行ったのは79,876人で、その中の32,610人(41%)に検査による異常が見つかった。
遠隔地の農村ではプライマリ・ケアに限りがあり、診断車の医者は患者の訴えや診療所の診断の結果を受けて、他の病気の診断や治療も行った。この活動の比率は全てのMDLの活動のうち、20%から50%におよんだ。検診の目標である年間9万人への到達は難しい。診断対象としている、事故発生時に0-18歳だった人が数人しか住んでいない村もあるためである。
Until Nov in 2004, the six MDLs (Mobile Diagnostic Laboratories) checked 79,876 people. Among them abnormal scans were detected in 32,610 people (41%).
Since primary health care was rather limited in the remote rural areas, the laboratory doctors carried out the diagnosis and treatment of other ailments upon complaints of patients or results of clinic tests. At present, this activity was ranging from about 20% to 50% of all MDL works. There was the difficulty in fulfilling the target plan for examination of 90,000 people per year because in some villages only a few representatives of target group (0-18 years old at the time of accident) were resident.
