6台の移動診療所（MDL)は、89,371人の甲状腺がん検診を行い、43,909人(49%)から異常が見つかった。その内215人から甲状腺がんが確認された。生検のトレーニングや、超音波検査専門家上級コース・トレーニングなどが、MDLのスタッフに対して実施されたこともあり、甲状腺がんの検出精度が改善された。
