国連のチェルノブイリ国際協力調整機関からの要請で、連盟はチェルノブイリ人道支援プログラム（CHARP）の2005-2006年の活動に関する説明書類を準備した。これは、国連事務総長のチェルノブイリ関連の隔年報告に盛り込み、第62回国連総会で報告するためであった。

During the reporting period MDL specialists detected thyroid cancer confirmed for 78 people. MDL (Mobile Diagnostic Laboratorｙ) would continue screening for thyroid cancer, with paying special attentions to the people who were 0-18 years old at the time of the accident.
By request of the UN Coordinator of International Cooperation on Chernobyl, the Federation prepared material describing CHARP (Chernobyl Humanitarian Assistance and Rehabilitation Programme) activities in 2005-2006. This was to be included into the UN secretary General's biennial report on Chernobyl-related issues for the 62nd Session of the General Assembly.
