原発事故により全町避難をした楢葉町では、240人の園児がいた「町立あおぞらこども園」も閉園を余儀なくされた。町民の避難先であるいわき市に、仮設の「あおぞらこども園」が日赤の支援で建築され再開された。
楢葉町から神奈川県に避難したが、いわき市に楢葉町の学校が再開されることに伴い、いわき市の仮設住宅に移動した家族が紹介されている。母は「子供たちが楢葉の学校に戻りたいとのことなので、いわきに移動した。将来、学校が楢葉町に戻るのであれば、家族で楢葉町戻りたい。」と話している。
All the town residents of Naraha evacuated due to the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident. Before the disaster occurred, there were 240 children at the “Naraha Municipal Aozora Childcare Center”, but the childcare center was also forced to be closed. In Iwaki where many people were evacuated from Naraha, a temporary “Naraha Municipal Aozora Childcare Center” was built and reopened with support by the JRCS.
This video introduces a family who had been evacuated to Kanagawa Prefecture from Naraha but relocated to a temporary housing in Iwaki, because schools of Naraha were reopened there. The mother says, “My kids wanted to go back to their Naraha schools and we moved to Iwaki. If schools are back to Naraha in the future, our family wants to return to Naraha.”
