2012年12月3日から14日までの間、仙台赤十字病院の矢萩静看護師と、八戸赤十字病院の一戸枝美子看護師が活動した。自らが被災者でもある両看護師には、町民の言葉に共感を覚えながらの活動であった。矢萩看護師は「町民はいまだにつらい状況で生活していることを感じた。福島・浪江の現実を伝えていきたい」と語った。

English Description
From Dec. 3 to 14, 2012, Shizuka Yahagi, a nurse from the Japanese Red Cross Sendai Hospital and Emiko Ichinohe, a nurse from the Hachinohe Red Cross Hospital conducted the health consultation program. As both nurses were also affected by the earthquake, they felt sympathy for what the people had to say when they visited the Namie people. Yahagi says, “I felt they were still experiencing hardships. I want to tell other people about the reality of Namie, Fukushima.”
