2013年9月8日から21日の間、高知赤十字病院の森澤暁美看護師が活動した。森澤看護師は話を聞くことが町民にとっての心のケアになることを実感したと語る。
長引く避難生活や環境の変化を背景にして、さまざまな健康上の問題も明らかになってきた。そのため、今夏スタートした町民の健康増進と交流促進を目指す「サロン」に積極的に通ってほしいと森澤看護師は働きかけた。サロンでは日頃の運動不足やストレスを解消するためにさまざまな活動が行われてる。

Listening to survivors leads to “psychological care”-JRCS health consultation program for people evacuated from Namie to Iwaki-
English Description
From Sept. 8 to 21, 2013, Akemi Morisawa, a nurse from the Japanese Red Cross Kochi Hospital, worked on the program. Ms. Morisawa says that she realized listening to people from Namie led to psychological care. Due to the prolonged evacuation and changed living environment, health problems came to light from the consultation results. Morisawa encouraged the people to often participate in the salon activities which the JRCS started this summer. Various activities are provided to relieve their lack of exercise and stress.
