2012年10月から続けられてきた浪江町民の健康調査が2年目を迎えるに当たり、10月9日に新たな活動拠点となる「日赤なみえ保健室」がオープンした。ストレス軽減のための相談室や健康サロンなどが開かれている。調査活動2年目のスタートを切った京都第一赤十字病院の中島聡子看護師はコミュニティーの拠点として町民の絆の回復につながればと期待を寄せた。

JRCS Public Health Room for Namie opens -JRCS health consultation program for people evacuated from Namie to Iwaki-
English Description
At the beginning of the second year of the program which has been conducted since Oct. 2012, the JRCS opened the “JRCS Public Health Room for Namie”, a new base office for the JRCS, on Oct 9, 2013. Various kinds of activities have taken place such as consultations and health salon activities to reduce stress of Namie people. The second year of the program started with a round by Satoko Nakajima, a nurse from the Japanese Red Cross Kyoto Daiichi Hospital. She hopes the Public Health Room to become a community base for the Namie people to rebuild their bond.
