This content is about an excerpt of a report on relief activities conducted by the Nagaoka Red Cross Hospital during the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. The excerpt is about essays contributed by the hospital staff members who joined the support activities in March 2012 in Minamisoma City for the evacuees who participated in a temporary entry program to the restricted area.
This was the third round of the program for the evacuees whose home were located within the 20km from the nuclear power plant. From this round, the evacuees were allowed to use their private cars to enter the restricted area, and there were almost no needs for medical relief for them.
