日本赤十字社（日赤）は、2011年8月に福島県内の23か所の社会福祉施設に96台の介護用ベッドを寄贈しました。これらの施設では、津波や福島第一原発事故により避難してきた介護が必要な方々を、定員を超えて受け入れていました。そこで、こうした方々が安心して十分なサービスを受けられるよう、日赤は介護用ベッドの寄贈を行いました。
English Title
JRCS provided nursing beds to social welfare facilities in Fukushima
English Description
In August 2011, the Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS) provided 96 nursing beds to 23 social welfare facilities in Fukushima Prefecture. After the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power plant accident, these facilities had accepted evacuees requiring nursing care where they had lived beyond their capacity. he JRCS provided the beds to allow those evacuees to receive sufficient care services reassured.
