English Description
In May 2013, the Japanese Red Cross Society developed "Manual for Relief Activities under Nuclear Disasters” based on lessons learned from the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident. The manual refers to a cumulative limit radiation dose during relief activities (up to one week) by a relief team member as 1mSv.
