Japan One Year: Diary 5 Finding hope in Fukushima
English Description
People who grew up in towns located close to the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant were forced to evacuate their hometowns. Their basic living environment is now in place because of provision of household electric appliances and others, but the lives that they used to live in their hometowns have gone. A local social worker stresses necessity of conveying the current circumstances of Fukushima citizens to the international community.
