Parents take their children to the Fukushima Red Cross Hospital to get them to be scanned for internal radiation exposure in whole body counter. Some parents are concerned about possible effects on their children from not exercising outdoors. Some fear that their children may be regarded as 'growing in Fukushima' in the future. As of the article date, no case of internal radiation exposure dose exceeding 1mSv was detected.
