English Description
This report explains the assistance that the JRCS provided for the survivors from November 18, 2011 to January 31, 2012. The amount of the international donations given to the JRCS via its sister National Societies exceeded 53 billion yen. Furthermore, the Kuwaiti government donated 5 million barrels of crude oil (equivalent to 40 billion yen). As the people's fear for radiation exposure was continuing in Fukushima Prefecture, the JRCS decided to provide more tangible and intangible assistance to Fukushima citizens.
