新しい事業として、北海道の大自然の中で子供たちが安らぎを感じることができる「サマーキャンプ」や、福島県の子どもたちが屋内で思いっきり体を動かすことができる「すまいるぱーく」などが行われました。また、地域の自治体などと協力した事業も行われました。
第2回の東日本大震災支援国会議が、16の赤十字・赤新月社などが参加して東京で開催されました。福島県民の健康調査のために、福島赤十字病院にホールボディカウンターと甲状腺検査装置が設置されました。
This report explains the assistance that the JRCS provided for the survivors from April 27, 2012 to August 9, 2012. New programmes were provided to Fukushima citizens. They were a summer camp programme for children so that they can feel comfortable in nature of Hokkaido; and Red Cross Smile Park to allow children living in Fukushima to move their bodies freely indoors. In addition, other programmes were provided in cooperation with local governments of Fukushima. The Second Partnership Meeting for The Great East Japan Earthquake was held in Tokyo, in which 16 Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies participated. For the Fukushima Health Management Survey, a whole-body counter and thyroid gland screening devices were installed at the Fukushima Red Cross Hospital.
