福島赤十字病院に設置されたホールボディカウンターと甲状腺検査装置を使った健康調査が行われました。来年度にはこれらの装置を追加することが決定されました。日赤は、原子力災害に備える取り組みの一つとして、本社内に「原子力災害情報センター」を設立することを決めました。
12月に日本政府と国際原子力機関（IAEA）の共催による「原子力安全に関する福島閣僚会議」が開催され、日赤の近衞社長がスピーチを行いました。
This report explains the assistance that the JRCS provided for the survivors from November 9, 2012 to December 31, 2012. Health management survey was held by using a whole-body counter and thyroid gland screening devices which were installed at the Fukushima Red Cross Hospital. It was decided to add more equipment of these types in the next fiscal year. As part of its efforts for nuclear disaster preparedness, the JRCS decided to establish a nuclear disaster resource center in its National Headquarters. In December 2012, the Fukushima Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Safety was co-hosted by the Japanese government and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). JRCS President Konoe gave an address at the meeting.
