General Safety Requirements (GSR) published from IAEA is the part of the Safety Standard Series for nuclear safety and applicable to all facilities and activities to ensure the protection of people and the environment. The GSR consists of Part 1 to Part 7.
The Part 7 is to establish the requirements for an adequate level of preparedness and response for a nuclear or radiological emergency. Their implementation is intended to mitigate the consequences of a nuclear or radiological emergency.
