Tohoku in My Memory: Recollections on Operation Tomodachi | JAPAN Forward

Submitted by RIJS on
Item Description

It's seven years since the 3/11 Great Eastern Japan earthquake and tsunami that killed over 18,000 people. It left an impression on anyone who was in Japan at the time. The day after the earthquake I was asked to return to active duty with the United States Marines to assist in the relief effort that came to be known as Operation Tomodachi.
