The Effect of the Fukushima Disaster on Children

My name is Allie and I am a senior in a high school in Boston and I currently take an environmental science class. I was interested in learning how children that lived through this disaster were effected, how schools proceeded to teach about this disaster to current students, and how the young children of today are effected. I was interested to learn that children who are born now are still very much effected by the disaster that happened before they were born. After reading and listening to these different sources, I would like to learn more about the school system today and how students are learning about the Fukushima disaster. From this research, I have learned that not just the people who lived through this suffered. The children born after this disaster are also affected. I hope that society can learn that children of any age are very powerful and can teach a lot about this subject.
