EnviSci testimonial climate change

Item Description
Learning about the 3/11 disasters on Fukushima was very interesting, but of course very unfortunate. I looked at this from the climate change perspective and the causes and effects. The most interesting thing that I learned about the 3/11 attacks were how many people lost their homes and were put in inconvenient situations. I was surprised that I had never heard about this before learning about it in class. I still want to learn more about the impact on the people still living their, and inconviences that they endure everyday due to the attacks that happened years ago. What we can learn from this is that countries need to prepare better for nuclear disasters and that people’s lives can be turned around in a matter of hours.
