Before doing research about how food was affected by Fukushima, I did not know anything about Fukushima and what had occurred there on March 3, 2011. I learned many new things while looking through the archive. Somethings I learned was that many people living in Japan had their food contaminated and many people did not have a good food supply. Many people were waiting in line for a supermarket in their town to open. I thought that it was very sad to see the images of people waiting to enter the new supermarket in their town and the images of people using a school as their shelter. I think that I am more informed now about the event.
