Item Description
My name is Cora Eaton and I am a senior at the American School in Japan. I have moved around all my life and have been living in Tokyo, Japan since the beginning of my sophomore year in 2017. I was not here when the earthquake happened, nor was I very aware of it until I moved here. It was a natural disaster that touched everyone in Japan. As I neither experienced it nor am I Japanese or have ever lived in Japan before now, I do not feel as though I can comment on the disaster. All I can say is that the aftermath of this event is a testament to the human spirit. The people of Japan endured and will continue to endure, with the support of their communities.
