Bridging Foundation — Friendship Blossoms Planting Sites

Submitted by RIJS on
Item Description
The Friendship Blossoms Initiative, a collaborative public-private partnership, provides 3,000 dogwood trees to different sites and cities in Japan as a symbolic expression of the strong cross-cultural relationship between the people of Japan and the people of the United States. Our first planting took place at Yoyogi Park on November 16, 2012, and we look forward to seeing our trees, along with our relationships, grow.
