The "Tsunagari Nukumori Project Tohoku" (hereinafter "Tsunanuku") will be closing its doors as of September 2016. Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, we have been able to continue our activities thanks to the support of many people, but we have decided that after five years of activity, we have largely completed the support and emergency response that we are able to provide, and have therefore decided to close the project. We would like to express our gratitude to the steering committee that has cooperated with "Tsunanuku" in its support activities for the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake using renewable energy (solar heat, photovoltaic light, biomass), to those who have donated equipment such as solar hot water heaters and solar panels as well as the installation costs, and to the local people who have helped with the installation of the equipment.
