Japanese Description
東日本大震災で亡くなった子供達の共通のシンボルとして、青の鯉のぼりを、天国から見える様に鎮魂の想いを込めて掲揚します。また、この活動を通して事故や病気でお子様を亡くされた方からの寄贈も少なくなく「うちの子もそこに鯉のぼりが揚がったら見つけてくれるかな…」と。こういった活動を通し改めて一人一人の命の大切さを実感しています。現在はそういった想いも深く受け止めながら掲揚しています。

BLUE CARP PROJECT
English Description
Legend has it that a Koinobori became a dragon when it continued to swim up and reach for heaven.
Blue Carp flags represent children, while a black one is the Father and the red one,
Mother. It became my mission to collect and raise as many blue carp flags as possible for all the children who were lost in this tragedy. I wanted them to sail freely in the limitless sky.
