Several years after the Tohoku earthquake a nuclear accident occurs in Japan. The location is the fictitious Nagashima Prefecture, an amalgamated name recalling Nagasaki, Hiroshima and Fukushima. This is the premise for my film titled "Kibou no Kuni (The Land of Hope)."
