歓藍社とは、小さな技術による暮らしの提案とその実践を行う団体です。福島県大玉村にて、農業や建築、服飾や工芸、生態学など、暮らしにまつわる様々な専門性を持ったメンバーが、およそ月に1回のペースで日本各地から集まり活動しています。2016年からは、農業従事者の高齢化や原発事故などを背景の一つとして生まれた村内の休耕地で、藍の栽培とその染料づくり、藍染めを開始しました。

English Description
Kanransha is an organization that proposes and puts into practice small techniques for living. In Otama Village, Fukushima Prefecture, members with various expertise related to daily life, such as agriculture, architecture, clothing, crafts, and ecology, gather from all over Japan to work together about once a month. In 2016, we began cultivating indigo, making the dye, and indigo dyeing on fallow land in the village, which was created partly due to the aging of agricultural workers and the nuclear power plant accident.
