Okawa Bamboo Lanterns
English Description
I am an "Okawa Elementary School Storyteller" with the hope that each person will feel and think, and spread the word in their own community.
I hope that by making the "bamboo lanterns," each person will have an opportunity to think about the importance of life, connections, and the lives of loved ones, things that we don't usually think about. With this in mind, I have decided to start the "Okawa Bamboo Lanterns" project with volunteer members from all over the country, as a way to connect to the future, marking the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
