This initiative, sponsored by the Fukushima Culture Art Promotion Office, was spearheaded by renowned young influencer Kiri, a planner and director of numerous groundbreaking animation projects. The project aims to bring together a diverse group of creatives—including novelists, hotel producers, architects, advertisers, and concept artists—to reimagine Futaba, an area in Fukushima Prefecture that was fully evacuated following the 2011 disaster.
The initiative seeks to foster a vibrant artist community to collaboratively design a new urban plan for Futaba. The first gathering was held on October 19-20, 2023, where 20 creators visited Futaba Town, each presenting their unique vision for the planned activity area. The event was livestreamed on YouTube and X, garnering widespread positive feedback from Japan’s domestic community. This project was executed as part of the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry's FY2020 Regional Economic Policy Promotion Project.
