The website includes:the main point of contact of the Japanese Government for Earthquakes,the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program Summary of the Honshu event,an excellent background series on the regional geography and impact of the event has been assembled by the Tohoku Geographical Association,general overview of the 2011 Sendai 8.9 earthquake on Wikipedia, and a history of earthquakes in Japan.
