Support Oura Project

Submitted by RIJS on
Item Description
This site was established to raise funds for the town of Oura, a fishing village that was mostly swept away by the tsunami, but that has not received substantial public aid, perhaps due to its small population. The funds will be used to purchase a boat winch, without which, the local fishing industry cannot get re-started. The site includes a PowerPoint slide show of photos and information on the town and its recovery process, as well as a PayPal link for contributing to the recovery funds.
