Japan Tsunami Marine Debris Joint Information Center | One-Stop Shop for Official Public Information and Helpful Resources from Government Agencies

Because of the magnitude of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami and the resulting debris that washed into the ocean, a cross-section of government agencies who may have a role in dealing with increased marine debris hitting our coastlines have come together to provide a “one stop shop” for helpful public information and educational resources. This is by no means everything, but a good place to start for accurate information and resources.
