Harvard Workshop at ASIJ

Item Description
I was living in London at the time and as a half Japanese person, the 3/11 earthquake was very frightening. Both my brother's school and my school created one thousand origami cranes, which my family was very active in helping with. I moved to Japan 6 months later and my friends were very worried about me, but from what I heard, a lot of the damage to construction was taken care of. When I moved to Japan, I did not witness any damage as I was living in Tokyo. However, I am now participating at a club in school, which is involved in working with the kids affected by the earthquake. It is an eye-opening experience to be able to help these kids and make an impact through interactions.
