2016年10月10日、佐賀県で「玄海原発の重大事故を想定した防災訓練」が実施されました。今回の訓練では、原子力災害下の大規模な住民避難を想定した、地域住民や社会福祉施設、学校などの一般住民が参加する屋内退避や避難訓練が行われました。また、玄海原発で発生した汚染を伴う負傷者に、二次被ばく医療機関である唐津赤十字病院で除染処置を行い、高度被ばく医療支援センターである長崎大学へ転送するという訓練も実施されました。

Preparedness for a complex disaster including a nuclear disaster - Disaster drill by simulating a severe accident at the Genkai Nuclear Power Plant in Saga Prefecture - (Information from Resource Center)
English Description
On October 10, 2016, a disaster drill by simulating a severe accident at the Genkai Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) was held in Saga Prefecture. Based on expectations of large-scale evacuations in the event of a nuclear disaster, drills for sheltering in place and evacuation were conducted with the participation of the public including local people, social welfare facilities and schools. Another exercise for radiation emergency medical care was also conducted. It was about giving a decontamination treatment at the Japanese Red Cross Karatsu Hospital designated as a secondary radiation emergency hospital to a person injured and contaminated by a nuclear accident at the Genkai NPP and transporting the patient to an advanced radiation emergency medicine support center of the Nagasaki University Hospital.
