I was in the office in Minato-ku, Tokyo when the earthquake struck. I immediately attempted to contact sendai mediatheque office, but I could not get through by phone or email. Three weeks later, when I came to Sendai and saw the situation at mediatheque, I was stunned. The time mediatheque opened more than 10 years ago is still burned into my memory.
